Summary (plain English)
- These terms form a contract between you and Algorithm Invoice (“we”, “us”).
- You agree to use the service lawfully and to pay any fees for paid plans or credits.
- Protect your account (enable two-factor authentication, use a strong password).
- Self-serve controls let you change your email, update your password, export data, or delete your account.
- We log sign-ins (IP/device) to help keep accounts safe — see Privacy & security.
- You own your data. We own our software and content — see Intellectual property.
- Cancel any time. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
1) Who you contract with
You are contracting with Algorithm Invoice (operated by your legal name or company). References to “you” mean the account holder or the organisation you represent.
If you use the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
2) Your account & security
Keep your registration details accurate and your credentials confidential. You’re responsible for activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, tell us promptly.
Self-serve controls
- Enable/disable two-factor authentication (2FA): Security settings.
- Change your password: Change password.
- Change your email address: Email settings.
- Download or delete your account data: Personal data.
Deleting your account is permanent. We may retain records we’re legally required to keep (for example, tax invoices) but will de-link them from your account where possible — see the Privacy Policy.
3) Subscriptions, credits & billing
Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices and plan features are shown at checkout or within the app. Complimentary or VIP access may be granted at our discretion.
- Credits: Prepaid units that may expire as indicated in-app.
- Billing: We use trusted providers (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). Taxes may apply.
- Failed payments: Access to paid features may be paused or downgraded until payment issues are resolved.
4) Refunds & cancellations
You can cancel at any time in the app. Refund handling is described in our separate Refund Policy.
5) Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service (for example, illegal activity, abuse, scraping, unauthorised access, or disrupting others). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6) Intellectual property
You own your content and data. We do not claim ownership of invoices, client records, or files you upload. Our software, designs, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the service while your account is in good standing.
7) Privacy & security
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. For security, we record sign-ins (IP address, device summary, and—when available—approximate location) to help verify it was you and to detect unusual activity. We may show a one-time “Signed in securely” pop-up when your IP or device changes. Private/local IPs are treated as non-locatable.
8) Service changes & termination
We may add, change, or remove features for technical, security, or business reasons. We’ll provide reasonable notice for material changes where practicable. We may suspend or end access for breach, fraud/abuse, or if required by law.
9) Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or security changes. If changes are material, we’ll provide reasonable notice in-app or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
